Captain Troy Pate
100 ton Master License
Capt. Troy is originally from Goldsboro NC, and grew up fishing eastern NC. He fished family boats from early the 1990’s until 2004, when he purchased and ran charters on a 33′ World Cat from 2005-2008.
Capt. Troy then ran the James Joyce II from early 2008 until the boat was put up for sale in January, 2017. He started running the Savanna Leigh in March, 2017.
Capt. Troy is a college graduate earning a BS in Business Administration (marketing and finance) in 1990. He owned a construction and restoration industry business until 2008. Beginning in 2013, Capt.
Troy has also run a commercial dive service in Carteret and surrounding areas.
